Has any one tried to run twin pipes? Will the Xp 800r pipes clear the xm hood?
Does any one have some used pipes they want to sell me?

A buddy was trying to get Jaws to do twins for his 862 BB but they weren't too interested in trying to package them.

I had jaws twin pipe on my old 860 ptec... they were ****in awesome!

call Brent linderman, he will have a line on a set if there available.
Were you running the set that were developed for the 860 that run 8000-8300 rpm

Or the ones for the 800 that make power at 8900 rpm?

Had the same jaws pipes on my ptek 860, just couldn’t get them to work at elevation as good as my dynoport does. Now those jaws pipes just collect dust in a box.

Update

Twin pipes don’t just fit, picked up a set from treeboy. The coolant bottle has to
Be relocated. Did this with a Xp coolant bottle. Still contacts with ecm.

Can’t find a decent place to move ecm to.
Plan to Cut and weld pto pipe a little to change angle.
Also Decided I’m mounting engine temp probes in pto pipe as it’s nesseled deeper in engine bay and I think it will run more consistent.

Planning on running a boost it box with extra injectors, already own it from a past project. It’s running pretty lean with 860 and bondi box on it. Bone stock sled would run 13-13.5af. Now seeing mid 13 to low 14s on stock fueling single pipe.

I was talking with my buddy awhile back about twins on my etec 800 - Do a big bore and have the twins coming together after expansion chamber to a homemade sidemount 2860 mounted horizontally - straight up through LH panel To a snorkel - and straight pipe it straight down out the bottom - crank it to 10lbs and see how long it lasted - would be awesome I bet - if I only had the $ the sh*t that I would be trying

Twin pipes to two turbos, each pipe running there own turbo. That would be cool. Not sure if it’s possible lol

I do have a garret gtx 2863 laying around. Point of this build is to not be waiting for turbo lag lol. Still got the impulse nytro collecting dust if a guy wants to feel real power haha. Not sure if the weight or the power makes my shoulders sore when I mountain rode it.

Curious what all you guys would use to provide fuel for the twins?
