Alright so i know i had a thread in here about 900 Rmk or M7, well the i called the M7 guy and he's currently in Hawaii... and well we got snow so i couldn't wait keeping the 900 :d BUT my ever loving father, took it for a ride. brand new Ryde FX air 2.0 shocks. 800$ a set, comes back from his little ride and one shock is totally wrecked. cracked the whole casing... so he's buying the RMK. I found a turbo phazer, mcxpress 140 hp, just wondering how this compares to an RMK riding wise? how much heavier is the 4 stroke?

SHHHH!! Don't tell him. He deserves a turboed Phazer for making has Daddy buy the sled. Imagine making the person who gave you life pay for something he broke??? Let alone the entire sled??? That's retarded. :nono: I wonder how much of his Dad's stuff he wrecked and never fixed as a kid. Or maybe even wrecked and never 'fessed up to... :realmad:

I was just pullin yer leg....I agree....break it and you buy it or pay for it....don"t know about that tuboed phazer thing....they are a very well built machine thou....and they sound wicked! Sure someone would be able to answer your questions...if not call the boys over at Slave Lake Yamaha...ask for Trevor or Steve....they've been doing turbos since they came out. I know they've done some Phazers...good guys and will give you the straight goods...their number is 780-849-5526.

Thanks, i'm not really worried about the turbo, i know the guys that did it and they do a good job. i'm just skeptical about the weight to power ratio i guess it would be?

I put quite a few miles on my brother's before he dumped it. It needs way more track, so a wider tunnel and new track are required. The turbo helps make it less of a dog, but your still dealing with over 500lbs and crappy handling in my opinion. Plus, everytime it is leaned over too far, crack case oil leaks into the air box.

Most newer sleds produce more horses and weigh less, and come with more track. Good luck if you try it, but it's not for me.

the phazer probaly is lighter then the 900 is had one it was a short track and it could turn on a dime fun sled to ditch bang. as for begin a narrow track buddy has a mountain track is a 144 and handles great in the mnts. turbo would be great for the extra power.go for it they are fun to trun them sharp no need to stand with both feet on one running board just shift your weight.

My g/f bought a T-Phazer this fall.........took it out the other day for the first ride. Rode a stock Phazer a couple yrs ago and I forgot how much fun they are to ride!!!!! It is a nimble little sled that can really be thrown around. It's not the lightest and it doesn't have the most power and needs a wider track but I think its a blast to ride. I'd almost rather ride it around home than my T-Nytro.

I don't know how they compare to an RMK but they are a fun little sled.
