Ok, so bought a fully setup 450 pumpkin with timbersled... rode it, liked it but swapped the timber for a Yeti, rode it, liked it but got a 520 w/PR2 coming. 520 not even here yet but pretty sure I'll be looking for more after a couple rides so just gonna get it all done in one shot. I haven't heard any real turbo reviews on any of the forums. Anybody have any real feedback? Looking at KMS and boondocker. Not a big fan of Aero. I don't want to lose the rideability of the bike in the trees and creeks for the extra power. With the limited time these have been out have these kits been refined in terms of reducing lag? With boost can a guy get 50hrs on top and 100 on bottom? I take it pin and weld crank is a must? If bottom power is going to be lost will look at boss noss kit instead so any feedback on that as well would be appreciated. Thanks fellas. Cheers

I am also curious about the turbo seen. Wonder how these bikes hold up, perform with boost. I just remember the boosted phazer kind of being a flop. I am guessing with boost must hit the rev limiter pretty quick, I imagine after time with the right gearing it could prob work but who knows. And what about the heat and heat spikes? Or do boost guys just get to leave it in 3rd and have gobs of power to spare. Losing bottom end would also suck.

I like my kms front mount, works pretty good. Defenety need to gear up. I wouldnt worry about the crank. its the wrist pin and rod that is the weak point in the ktm. MY builder says 80 hrs on the slug 160 on the rod. I'm not that lucky

Have opted to hold off on the turbo for now until there is more development on the kits.
