Just out of curiosity i was wondering if anyone has turbo'd a kitty cat or a polaris 120 or anything. i was watching "mini slednecks" on you tube the other day and nothing like a grown man on a 120cc... just wondering if anyone has taken the time to bump up the power on these little sleds.

I have done some extensive work to my boys mini Z and I have also researched a turbo for it. All that I can find online is turbo go carts. I would like to see one in a mini and get some feedback. Either nobody is building them or nobody talks about it.

one of the Chinese GY6 motor / scooter dealers have them listed on line (MBE I think) ... was curious about it as well along with a FI system to replace the carbs on a pair of Sno Sports .... would be cool to add a little more juice to them ... although the 125 sports stretched to 121" tracks run at 50+ km/h on the trails!

I am very curious aswell. Partially because I am a Motorhead and partially because love helping mold the future generation of sledding. I have been doing some research on a turbo because I have done pretty much every other mod. My son is ready for more power but in the same size chassis. I am hopeful to find and install a turbo this winter will keep you all posted!

how soon till that Doo is for sale? my 7 year old is a bit too big for the stock 120. Was thinking of of doing a 206 B&S swap out. Im also going to talk to timbersled about track pricing. Prob way cheaper than buying a second stock track and splicing

If someone was going to all the trouble of a custom turbo 120 why not look to other engine options? I Don't know a lot about them but a 125 or 250 Kart engine may work as I think they run a centrifugal clutch. A dirt bike engine may be also be an option, the hotsaw guys machine off the transmission and run directly off the crank at the normal clutch area so anything is possible when thinking outside the box. In the link is a CR500 chainsaw which is simply awesome.

MAN'S GOTTA DO: Alright, this is just awesome right here.  Ron...

hey Firstdoo I Prob wont be selling anytime soon. As soon as my son out grows it, it will be handed down to my daughter, and then most likely stay in the family. (It's worth too much t0 sell lol)
I like where you are going with the timbersled track but you would need HUGE hp to turn that thing and a 206 wont be enough. The track prices arnt toooo bad from www.recmotors.com. and can match up well with a 200. or you can go up to he 120" if you have the power plant.

Hey gates559 i really enjoy working on this thing and It is great to see others are interested. I do have some videos of testing and tuning I will try post from my phone and include the list up upgrades. All of the mods were done slowly as my sons skills advanced. I am thinking about posting a YOUTUBE video of the final build with the turbo and fuel injection kit. I see a few videos posted on these engines, but nothing about the build, difference in power, reliability, power to cost ratio ect. Most of these turbo units seem to be running generators.

Just looked again. I'm sure the last time i looked on recmotors the track price was way higher than $625. Going to price it all out and see what the wife will let me get away with

I was starting down the mod road with my boys 120 when he was 4. He's now 6 and been on a bravo last season. Way better machine than the 120 could ever be and now my 3 year old girl is starting on the 120. Seems like a lot of money to spend when there are bigger chassis options out there.

91 SnoSport with 125 cc has no trouble spinning a 121"x1.33" track!
