Hey
Wondering what the snow conditions were for Tumbler, planning on takin a trip in a couple of weeks, wondering if it will be worth the travel.???

If your traveling from Fort Mac, no. There isn't much snow in the whole area. lts
low every where

Hey AuntWhaWha,snow conditions in Tumbler are not the greatest.
The meadows are ok but if you want to do any climbing it is not recommended. Still lots of rocks sticking out and wind swept,lots of people doing damage to there sleds. Snow in the forecast but like paul22 says the entire area around here is lower than past years for snow.
last in core lodge on Jan 13.

yeah not much snow, been to core lodge ,backside of back meadows and in behind the lakes on the wolverine. a lot of stumps and rocks . one lower a arm and a front shock and a cracked belly pan on one sled and a bent upper a arm and shock on another. there is a little more where the wind has"nt got to it . silver sands 2 weeks ago was a little better but still managed to bruise some rigging. going to wait till this cold snap is over and try the pyramid side of the wolverine .
