I plasti dip my stock wheels for winter. Keeps the salt of them. My good rim are already black and gun metal.

As far as what looks better, some people like blondes some like red heads

Pretty amazing stuff really, did the same on my old stock rims for winter, easily stayed in great shape for 2 seasons! I’d guess prob good for 3 or 4 winters, nice part is if they get scratched of start to peel just touch up or peel it off and do it again. But the other side is those cans ain’t cheap, could honestly be cheaper getting the rims powder coated haha.

Rona sells tremclads version of plastidip for about $12 a can as opposed to $25 for plastidip brand at crappy tire. Works just as well as the brand name.

I did my sled trailer white rims in 2014.
Lots of mountain trips and they still look good!
Pressure washed them every time I got back to town after a trip.

Well I just got the truck all done for winter. I got old 20" f350 rims from Kijiji and Plasti-dipped them black. Got 305/55/20 Goodyear Duratracs studded, kickback mudflaps oil pan heater and rear wheel well liners. Must say I'm loving these tires on the snow & ice!

Winter setup vs summer setup. Pretty happy with the finish and the look of the suv with the black

I’m doing the wheels on my trailer with this stuff...sounds like the ticket. Color options or just black and white?

Plasti dip has many different colours. The flexidip I bought today I’ve only seen black and white. Thought I would try the flexidip from Rona and see how it compares.
I did see plasti dip in black at auto value today for $15 instead of $24.
