Lots of black mold showing up with houses built with osb. I would not use that stuff for anything.

I use pressure treated 3/4" fir plywood for my deck. If you can get past the green color, it holds up well - 4 years so far, no worse for wear - and it's on the truck 365 days a year, outside.

just to add to this as I posted it quickly, I have seen a deck with this plywood on it for over 6 years that was only delaminating a little bit where the skags wore in. I replaced the wood on this same deck with the same ply when I bought it from the guy and after 2 years it still looked like new. it isn't cheap but trust me it is worth it and is all I would use on any trailer or deck if I were to do it again
Use paper face form ply... It's a treated plywood with one side having a smooth pastic/wax finish..... Lasts for ever no rot..... And no need for glides

I just talked to the Windsor Plywood guys. They suggested exterior sheathing OSB board.
For a weatherproofer they said to use Wellbond glue thinned out with water.
Sure seemed to know what they were talking about and the OSB is only $20 per sheet.
I'm giving it a try.

I would not go with the OSB. The marine would more than likely be a way better choice. Two winter and counting for me. I'm am how ever interested how it work out for ya.

must be because they don't have it in stock and to order a couple sheets isn't worth their while.

exterior osb is always covered up and never left to weather or wear where it is commonly used....it may hold up ok but as you load and unload and scar the surface once the water starts to deteriorate osb it will not last long....jmho

OSB is installed. I was too busy(lazy) to weatherproof it.
I may throw a coat of sealer on it but at $20 a sheet, don't bet on it.
On thing though, OSB sure is easy to work with.

Yep, OSB is great if you want to build an ice fishing hut and paint it black, but there's a reason no deck manufacturer uses it.
