Anybody know if you can use stock shocks on the 36 inch.

The discerption say *dont need to cut stock shocks*.

Not sure why that statement was had the stars before and after.

I put the Alternative Impact 36" front end kit on my 16 Axys last year, the stock shock length works fine. My has the non adjustable shocks.

I put a b-power 36” kit on my 18 and used the stock shocks with no issue as well

Question, wouldn't it be better to use offset spindles rather than narrower arms? If you hit something you can just get a stock arm rather than order another aftermark arm.

IMO , the aftermarket a arms are way stronger, I’ve hit things that would have folded my stock arms that did no damage to my aftermarket ones, I just kept my stock ones so I can still ride if I wreck one

I would normally agree but if I run offsets with arm candy braces, which I do, I could run a complete set of these Trenchers and sell the take offs and be ahead, or put the stock back on and sell the trenchers when the time comes. Getting replacements would be a bugger and likely why I will continue to run the stock arms with offsets.

It is possible the high clearance arms might improve your chances of not bending an arm.

As dumb as it sounds I didn't want to lose the LE lime squeeze powder coated spindles. It would for sure be nice to pick up a stock arm from any ol' dealer rather than looking for a 36 arm. The stock arm is really weak without the arm candy, I glanced off of a tree last year and bent a lower. $300/ea from polaris, um, no thank you. Trenchers sells a stock width kit with both lowers for $400 so that was an option but for the extra $250 I thought I'd try the 36" kit.
