I'm not positive , but I'm thinking ..if at all ...anything should go wrong and there is some damage to you or somebody else .... the powers that be will be asking for your journeymans ticket . as I'm sure it is illegal with out it .. too make your own ... not saying some peeps do not know how to weld , its not rocket science ..... might be something to check out ??

wow chit flying around this room .... personally i dont like those at all .... most of the new trailers dont have bumpers and well they should not be putting them on there.... there should be a law just like bc stopping this ... you want a boat and toys bring a second truck for that... my 2 cents... as for the above work looks good should hold just fine..

:Happy4: says the guy that thinks the best powder handling and climbing ski doo ever made is like "riding a buffalo". plenty of experience there, eh?

crack is awesome! it helps me to tolerate the mentally deficient people of the world like yourself....

So what do you tell them when they ask what the name of the shop was? Not saying anything would happen but ina worst case scenario something happens and someone gets injured, and you cant prove anything then you would be liable and i dont know that your insurance would cover you.. But also on the same token in alberta from i understand pretty much anyone can go out and build a trailer to haul stuff on and it's all good as long as it'sregistered as a home built. I dont know if they even get inspected let alone asked about any welding tickets or such.

all they do if you reg as a home built now is you have to get a guy to come out and check the unit for stolen parts and he issues you a vin plate and number and whatever year you want it to be is stamped into the vin. kinda a hokey system imo. no inspections needed on trailers unless it is commercial and then ts every year which is bs imo as well but that a whole different thread.
