We did a lot of trail clearing on the weekend.

Lots of fallen trees.

more likely driving to fast, out of control, hazard to wildlife, trees and anything in it's path. have taken steps to distance us from this group.

it's happened in many places unfortunately..... a few years ago the same thing was discovered in Hells Half Acre out West of Stony Plain....... it is sickening for sure

Well with May long coming up fast , time to
hit the trails ... when cutting deadfall across the trails
remember , cut it wide !at least 6.5'. Don't be that guy that
is responsible for leaving a log poking out to injure a fellow rider...
Or bust the wheel off a machine !

Also if you have a good quality ( battery life) cordless recip saw,with a 10" wood blade , they work wonders for smaller branchs
and roots . No gas to carry and light / small.

Tyler like this idea because it gets hot when we do trail work. Saw gets hot and wont run fuel boils in tank. As long as you have batteries it should work

I would like one of the new cordless chainsaws. But same price as a good chainsaw and at $500 I need to know it will work well and can replace a gas chainsaw for trail stuff. I wish I could demo one.

Pffftpttt. They wouldn't cut fibreglass very quick. I need to cut whips don't like fast. I don't have time for fisher price

I seen on Facebook book, in the koots someone dropped 2 plus inches long nails on a signed and maintained bike-ohv trail

Like 2 - 4L buckets of nails for. 5 of a km, bet there's more and that's just what they were able to find and pick up



I think we to scare the bears and cougars down the hills into the granola eating trails, so they can eat some of these bastages
