Anybody running tracks on their Rhino? What brand? How do you like them? I'm really thinking about getting some.

Not on a Rhino yet for me, but I've had them for about a yr, 1251 mi but they are a ton of fun and unstopable.

1st choice - Tatou 4S
2nd Commander Trek Series

Rhino is gone and the problem i had with th etracks was due not having the tensions set properly. So I have a set for sale for $3000 firm.

I have a 07 rhino and just purchased the Tatou 4s tracks. the front tracks are flex tracks and the rear are flat tracks. Just put them on Friday night
I had 2 choices one was the commander series and the tatous. I ended up with the tatous for the all season use that they offer. Still don't know if i will use them in the summer but it is nice to have the choice to.

You do loose a fair bit of speed though. I Have the after market CDI and the hunterworks primary sheave on my rhino and with the stock tires i was getting about 90 Kmh. With the tracks i still hit 90 kmh on the speedo but the gps shows about 57 kph and thats wound right out for 1/8 mile or so. I didn't buy them for speed anyways and 55 kph is fast enough for me and the type of riding i plan to do with it anyways. hope this helps :)

I just purchased a set of tatous have them mounted but not sure what setting i should have. no snow here yet.

buddy at work had the tatoos on his rhino here , and they were horrible the bogeys kept coming off on the rear, the rear braces broke and the track wrapped around and dented the box it didnt like erosion ditchs and sticks would get stuck between to bogeys and they would pop off. but they worked great in winter :d

I've tried my tracks in summer. Didn't like it.

1. Too rough ride.

2. You loose the manoueverability on narrow trails.

3. Takes to much room to turn around. 18-20 ft diameter.

4. Too rough.

5. Too rough.

6. & Too rough.

I wondered how they worked in summer. Although I really don't plan to use them in summer. Winter operations only for me.

well- from experience, we rent rhinos and prowlers with tracks,

heres what we have and what i have found-

4 sets of tjds which is an older style and narrow track than the new ones, yet strangely similar to the camoplast tatou 4 seasons,
winter use great- thats what they were intended for
summer not bad if you used your head, greater floation than tires and thats what we need them for remote hard to get at places. biggest wear part was the slider and we did replace some boggies but not bad. all in all

3- sets kimpex wide track (2 yrs old) again primarly for the winter as the main housing is plastic. worked better in the deep stuff a bit harder to steer but floation was awesome 4s tatous best we seen just got 4 sets arctic cat's atv only tracks and they look the best as far as tough but no track record yet...
hope this helps ya.

A buddy has a set, they're Tatou's. Un-freakin-believable in the deep snow, good thing too, he had to pull the rest of us through. I'm gettin' a set, just don't know which ones yet.

I've ridden them all and like Tatou the best although the others are a close
2nd.

Didn't like Mattracks at all.

Camoplast/Tatou's warranty is tops.

update,, the cat tracks are the toughest weve seen, weve had them out quite a bit, and even sold a set to a customer with a 700 grizzly...he made them fit with a bit of modification and loves them, he had the xgen II before and had track tension issues..... fyi

That sounds like some good unbiased input from a dealer that has sold most of them. When a person gets that type of info, it makes the descision a lot easier.

Good for you TTPOWERSPORTS.
