Only issue has been 2.6. Just clip it.

Adding unsprung weight, especially to the track, isn't what I want to do, think I'd rather have a 3" if they don't have this issue. Then of course ya lose the belt drive....decisions, decisions

My 3" shows slight wear, with over 1000 miles, but nothing I am concerned about.

2950km on my 2016 163x3. Track looks fine to my eye, I don't see anything concerning.

The 3” track has more weight - I believe it’s 18 lbs plus the chain drive. Those clips don’t weigh near that. Also the 3” tracks seem to have more vibration. The 2.6 is a stellar track.

Vibration? Your hands must be getting old.

Fully clipped my 3", no abnormal track wear now aside from missing half lug here and there but thats what happens when its taped to the bar all day. And put a TKI belt drive on, it spins up quick, loss minimal weight but I think having a belt drive on the more durable drive shaft is the way to go. I am really on the fence if the next sled will be a 3" though as there are pros and cons to both.

I rode my 16 155x2.6" unclipped for a 1000 miles, then clipped it. The clips are not noticeable one bit. Fully clipped my 17 163x3", no difference in performance. Gonna clip the 18 163x3" i just bought. Pretty cheap insurance.

Just took my 17 Axys 3'' into the dealer for a new track on warranty (500 miles). Showed the same kind of wear that guys were seeing on the 2.6 tracks. Also had a few cracks in it but nothing major, but to my surprise Polaris gave me a new one. I am going to clip the new one for sure.

Polaris denied warranty on my 155, 2.6” track back In November for the unclipped window wear with 600 miles on,so I clipped it myself no more wear now. Was your track cracking where the rear wheels run?

3” is worse then the 2.6. Clips, powder freaks drivers and run it way looser and skidoo scratchers and they will last a long long
time.
