Has anyone seen there torque plate cracking between the clutches? If so have you found any after market ones or just go to the dealer?
Its on a 2016 M8000 limited 162”

I will try to post a picture later on
Mine cracked because this happened. Primary blew up in eagles on Saturday //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190101/993412725e42181e99ce1c5eb598664b.jpg
Only 1500How miles on that clutch?
any clues that the clutch was an issue before the failure, more vibration etc
Not that I could pin point. Just happened when I was 3/4 throttle maybe 6800 rpm doing a pow turn. I've had the cover off multiple times and never saw premature wear or cracks, but I could have missed something
I will keep a close eye on mine
Since I have to buy a new clutch I am getting an upgraded 18/19 clutch from SSI. For what it's worth I'd recommend the upgrade anyways and keep your stock primary as a spare. Having a primary blow in the backcountry is not fun
do the upgraded clutches completely eliminate that vibration the 16's had in the clutches
Supposedly so. And they no longer require the deflection adjustor on the secondary, plus comes with a belt
