Nevermind, found it. Where do people stay when they do things like this? All the hotels must get slammed?

It's an hour NE of Edmonton on hwy 63....I guess the little motel in town may have a room or two if you want but better choices 1/2 hour away at Redwater

After checking the date I am disappointed to say that I work weekdays..... Why wouldn't they have these things on weekends to maximize potential turnout?

I hit about 120mph on the speedo or maybe just a hair over, back in the day on the old mans 97 ultra spx 680, triple pipes, ported&polished with an 1 1/4 121". We were on the 4th lake road up at Whiteswan Lake in northern sask. Other than that I had my 11 m8 up to 95 mph on the carson lake trail a couple weeks ago before the rally

Had my 2010 M8 showin 90 mph on a groomed trail on Lac st. Anne. Ran out of gear long before I ran out of motor. Still not bad for a mountain sled....

Back in my younger days, 94 vmax 4 with 136" track , used to get it about a needle width over 185 km/hr. This was before GPS., so not sure what the real life speed would have been. Long pulls at that speed racing other guys on the lake. Man I loved how that engine sounded

They were geared alot higher back then. My 670summit would do 180 on the lake. According to the speedo.

Still have the 800,, Ill race you some time...haha

I have an old 98 670 here(my buddys) and a 15-T3-163. I already know how it works if theres traction in the farmers field.

153 kmh on a quick blurp down a un plowed road. 12 154 freeride. 23-49 gearing. Deano clutching. Holding it would be higher.

Yup T3 is not a fast sled at all. Even compared to the 2.5in track summits it's super slow. My 174 tops out at 114kmh on speedo, gps shows 113. My 2013 163 used to hit around 88mph no problem

Off topic , but I spent a lot of time at Whiteswan lake as my grandparents lived there! Miss that place! My top speed ever is 118 mph on a 1997 600 triple triple piped. Scary as hell.

If memory serves me right the highest speed i've ever gone on a sled is around 115MPH on a smooth lake with a borrowed Vmax4. I believe the sled was very capable of going faster but for me it was enough.
It ran a 136" 3/5" lug so not much drag compared to today's 2.5 and 3" lugs. I highly doubt my 240HP turbo Nytro could even get close to that today. If i was to guess maybe 75-80MPH for the TNytro on a good surface.

BTW the highest ground speed i have ever done though was on my CBR950rr Fireblade, in my foolish years.......between Chilliwack and Hope 280km/hr....i DON'T RECOMMEND LOL

Ya my dads inlaws lived up there and we also had a lot there as well, spent many days in the winter ripping up the trails or fishing lakers, and many a summer on the crystal clear lake with the watercrafts. Now it isnt to nice anymore, the lake level has risen so much in the last 8 years all the beaches are 5-10' under water and the lake isnt near as clean and clear, the entrance road before the lodge has been built up two or three times because it washed out, and the narrows into the second lake is just part of the lake now
