With my 154 summit I hit 97mph on the max speed recall across a hard packed field. Now that its regeared and a 163 I'm off the rev limiter at like 80-85 I think.
On a 97 mach 1 mod (minor porting) I buried the speedo well past 200(kph) on a hard packed range road. No idea what speed it actually was, this was before gps and no one had a radar gun. Scary part wasn't going that fast, it was trying to stop before the correction line

Quickest thing I've ever ridden was an alcohol drag Thundercat. Just did a little run on the lake to try it out but I think it would do like 150 in 900 foot. It was my uncles sled, thing was retarded

The ol 06 F-7R has seen 115mph on the river, and 118mph on grass. Love that 128" 13.5" wide 1" ripsaw this year haha
poor thing has 3500miles of river racing/grass drags and I just did sliders for the first time and fed her a fresh set of plugs.

HAHAHA that's funny
I had an 84 and an 86. Both new, they are quick out of the hole, surprisingly quicker then alot of bigger displacement sleds, but it's very short lived....from what i recall they both could clock out about 55-60mph on a good surface, MAX.
The fan cooled 485cc were only about 55hp.

Maybe the guy got confused with km/hr and ml/hr. 100km/hr would be about right.

You've obviously never argued with 13 year old Joey...... Maxwell is an amateur compared to the old Joey, don't even try to use logic or common sense Yamaha & Jesus were where it was at.....

My first sled was a 98 Yamaha SRX 700 triple. I either run out of lake or chickened out after 95 mph. Not sure of the speed as it all went blurry after it hooked up.

I did 175km/h on my 2008 crossfire 1000 my 2009 m1000 153 can do 145km/h if I do 146 km/h it blows the belt every time my new m8000 153 can only do 122 km/h on a lake tapped out I am 280 pounds so that doesn't help top speed
