Got a scammer calling about 2 big charges on my VISA card.

I hate those kind of calls. The heart starts pumping and the BP probably goes up.

Anyways, the call was a number from the same community as my bank is from in the beautiful downtown of the world’s largest truck.

 

[ferniesnow]

As I fumbled to load my banking app, I said, “this seems kind of strange getting a call in this manner with a deep southern accent”.
She immediately hung up.

I did the follow up with VISA and it was a scammer. No ill effects and the VISA rep said, “you did your job and all is well."

Those kinds of things are scary and piss me off.
