Yes, a week ago today, Oscar passed. One of those tough decisions in life where a very close friend isn’t going to get any better and struggles to do the daily things that used to come so easy, so we put him to sleep. We were helping him up and down the stairs to get outside for his bowel movements and in the house he was wearing diapers. Arthritis and various infections got the best of him. About the only time he appeared to be energized, was when the ice cream came out in the evening. He was 13+ and well past the average longevity of an English bulldog. Rest In Peace Oscar, we will join you one day.

Sorry for your Loss Doug. it's a hard decision but best for them in the long run. both of ours had to be put down a few years back due to failing health. never easy but it was horrible watching them suffer through just to do simple tasks. Your pups resting easy now.
