Did you have to change anything in your router or ps3 settings? My router is upstairs and my ps3 is downstairs. With my iphone,laptop, I get full bars of wifi or damn close everywhere in my house. But on my PS3 I get next to no wifi connection. I even tried moving it upstairs but that never helped. It sucks!! Why do I do? I get like 1 to 2 bars connection.

Trendnet. Not sure if you can buy better antennas for it or not. I've heard that if you put stand the ps3 up it helps, acts like and antenna, how do you have yours?

Thought of something else that may help. Use te wireless hotspot from my phone, just set it right beside the PS3, kinda a pain in the azz, my phone will constantly be dead but it might help? Could also set up my laptop downstairs and connect to the wi-fi then somehow connect my ps3 to it?

Hotspot will give you a really expensive phone bill.. And I just have my ps3 flat. I don't use a router either. I have this thing from telus and it's pretty cool. Uses cell towers and then turns it into wifi. It's completely wireless, you plug it in and charge it then unplug it ad you can take it everywhere and use it anywhere you have cell service
