I think its more speed than anything on hard trails. Thats when paddles start flying off.We took a trip from Barrhead to Swan Hills a few years back..... we had a 12, a 13, a 14, and a 16 Cat, the 16 had a 3" track, and there was spots with super low snow, but we all did fine, little bit of heating issues in a few places but we all made it, no track damage and no sliders ruined.
