I remember having a wall phone and a party line

Wasn't much of a party tho

Then a few years later got our own number and line

I was probably around 7 lol

Picked up the phone one day, still around 7 yrs old. Told the operator to f off and a few other things

She locked our line and when dad got home and tried to use the phone

She ratted me out and I got a phucking beating that I'll never forget

Probably didn't swear again, until after he passed away, 40 years later lol
