I use peanut butter on the spring type Victor

I have a few of this set out too

Sometimes they eat the bait but I reset and adjust the tension

Sometimes the trap is sprung, but empty

Over the winter, I used a green poison bar in an enclosed plastic container.

They eat and die never to be seen again.

No mice this spring so far.

There is no food and no paper to nest material.

Ours are confined to the kitchen cupboards.

WE always have traps set.

Use one of those high frequency thingy's last year and it seemed to work

But they need electricity and over the winter we don't plug in.
