Still going at it. Old faithful (the 9600) blew a major steel hydraulic hose that they won't be able to get for another week, so its down for the count. Down to two combines. We're getting to demo a 9870 and a 9120 tomorrow, so that will be interesting.

I'll see what I can doo. There will be a 9650 walker, a 9760sts, 9870sts, and 9120 going hard. John deere guy brought a beat to heck honey bee header though. Tried using it tonight and gave up.

WTF was he thinking? Does he know the Case is going to be there as well? If the front end isn't doing the job the big capacity behind it is just wasted. I found that out this year in my mustard. Couldn't feed that stuff fast enough.

Yup he knew. But says that's all he had. Dad basically told him that if he can't provide a good header, to not bother having a demo unit. Which I agree. The case guy is bringing a honey bee too, but its new.

We might switch the headers so the big deere is running our current 36'. Be a true side by side comparison....... As long as it doesn't break down again. :realmad:

Funny how some of the equipment manufacturers charge so much more, just cause they have a good name/reputation in the industry.
