At my last home, we lived 35 -70 km from supplies so I had a shop full of necessities so that I didn't have to drive for some screws, nails, tuck tape, electrical components, etc., etc.. I got rid of a lot of stuff before we moved and now I don't have some of the things that would have been in my shop to finish the basement. Last week, I made 4 trips downtown for various things.

My rant for the day!!!

Did someone say bacon hell ya love making bacon probably can cook it on some of the cans nice still have not found a good one yet

Get a Thing Cooker

I second this idea. Lots don't like them but they are designed in Revelstoke and tested in Revelstoke and IMHO, if you want a hot meal/snack they work well. I agree with Norona that none of them will give you a gain in HP and I am not worried about a slight loss or the loss of balance of the sled when one takes off the suitcase. Hot lemon garlic shrimp or bacon wrapped scallops or moose sausage at elevation are awesome!!
