Well here’s the skinny.

My 14 year old chihuahua dislocated a hip.
Option a was to try to pop it back in but would probably not work.
Option b1 was surgery to repair the hip and keep going.
Option b2 was surgery to amputate the leg. Less pain overall. An over weight Mexican dog on three legs may have been funny.
Option c.....
We opted for c. Nothing was guaranteed that he would have survived the surgery. Ben is in a better place now.

Sorry to hear about option C,.. We had to option C our 2 dogs, one last March 2018, other one May 2019
