well looks like the temps are going to be close to 0 today, bit breezy and still cold yet.

a fellew sure didn't want to be out in the wind yesterday, wind was nippy.

Going to have to go out to the wood pile to find a few pieces to tide me over till Doug"s firewood care package gets here?

alas i will have to make due with the willow and aspen that i have accumulated over the year.

willow burns nice when it is dry, i actually like it, no sparks, burns relatively clean, don't have far to go get it is a bonus.

poplar, burns good, no sparks, lots of ash. and again don't have to go far to get it.

used to burn birch, good heat, not much sparks, long haul to go cut it, heavy heavy .
