Yep, we r gonna be in for a disaster this summer. Just think if that damn broke. The hole missori river and the cities near it wld be a complete whipeout.

No kidding. I cant even imagine. and that would affect the WHOLE missori river for the entire length of it.

we figure if they dotn start letting out more water then 75,000cfi, in 20 days give or take the water will be running over the spillway. and then we have lost complete control of everything...

incoming water is 150,000cfi+ with out the run off... predicted to get over 200,000cfi+ when only lettign out 75,000.. lake is rising 3" per day.. only 5 feet more to go b4 its over the spillway.

Well the CEO of the compoany I work for just gave everyone one day off with pay to help sand bagging. Will be starting to bag tonight helping a friend. And will sand bag all day tomorrow. He says he needs 6000+ sand bags. This is gonna get uglier they also have decieded to increase flow rate from 65000cfi to 90000cfi. Maybe even more, I'm guessing the river wil rise another 6 feet!!!!

Yes. The flood stage for the river is 16 feet.

muscles and body ache all over the place. helped a buddys place... had around 25 of us working.. filled roughly 6000 sand bags in about 6 hours.
