i remember a chunk of leather about 2 inches by about 12 inches long for the more paisley type, i seemed to see the 18 inch one mostly. even in grade one i had warm hands all winter

I got the strap once in grade 4 and decided then, that I didn't want that again.

Got suspended for 2 days in grade 9. Left the house both mornings, like I was going to school......... School call the house the afternoon of the 2nd day and then I was in **** at home......... lol

if it wasn't, it got the desired affect. . then there was the yard stick across the knuckles or on the shins.
