Old father inlaw owned a trap line in BC. I went in it a few times.
He gave me his bear trap he used for years. It took a few bears legs off and bears got away

Those old traps are obsolete and illegal now. Leg holds nowadays dont make hardly a mark. Very humane as they are a live trap and the trapped animal can be released if it is not a targeted catch :eg:deer...(read rodeo) Or dispatched with a firearm. Snares and Conibears are killing devices. Its no small task to unspring a conibear with two hands and a rope to squeeze the springs let alone with your one hand in it! Pretty glad my senior partner was standing right beside me and only my left thumb was caught lol

Going to the shop to work on things; bevel the Edge Trim on the ramp, more weather stripping on the ramp door on my flat deck, maybe change some small LED lights that seem to burn out quite regularly..........and if I looked at the honey-do list, I am sure there is something more.

Drink rum in the sun

Im not quite ready for the rocking chair yet!

I know. That's why I keep you thinking and moving.

I would be ok with some Deep Expresso powder for hunting.

Don't tell anyone I said that
