Wifer just called and told me the neighbour kid(the meth head that just got arrested)'s dog just came over and killed all our laying hens. Im about 20 minutes from home... Any words of advice?

best advice it to not kill the human or the dog, unless you can catch the dog in the act then its called "protecting your livelihood"

6 hens left out of 13...Went to the neighbours and suggested if the dog is caught up at my place killing chickens he wont be coming back. I made no reference as to what would happen to him. They were apologetic and offered to pay for my chickens, I declined. They have had a stessful time with the arrest and other chaos around over the last while. I was mad but felt bad for the mom.
