I'm a selfish SOB. We don't have a tub and there are two reasons; the added maintenance that is required to keep it clean (I'm talking serious clean and not just sort of clean) and the power bill. When you really think about it, it is a pretty expensive toy (considering the purchase price, the amenities to make it easily accessible, chemicals, rodent proofing, and of course your time for maintenance as well as the added cost to heat the sucker) for the amount of time it is used.

I agree, a tub soak is great and if the decking is set up properly so that entry/exit is smooth, the views are there to be had, they fit the bill of a lot of people.

That's y I'd go with the soft tub, u can move it anywhere, fill it as it's all self contained

110 dont keep up imo
From the three people I know that have them, month to month is cheaper, cause less water and chemical
Less power by 1/3 of the bigger, regular hot tub they replaced

Says it keeps up just fine here

At minus 35, yes I could see that

One of my old neibors in eckville had one and used it year round, he was in it every day, so I'd say it kept up then
And shallow

The one we were in at Ucluelet lost heat steady as soon as the lid came off til it was too cold and we got out. I had it cranked to 104.
