I doo it the right way. I have the fiberglass poles and a brush. Up and down a few times with a bag at the bottom. The furnace has some horizontal pipe to take apart and clean outside, the main floor stove is straight into the stove. With our warm winter, the furnace hasn't been burning hot enough so I am being proactive!
