Ours melted when it hit the road. It is zero today.

Ya it was melting some here today, still 12 to 18 inchs on the ground, with a half inch ice crust on top all powder below, sucks for sledders. But i enjoyed myself in the ranger, work was fun today, except for the mile i had to walk, crusty snow sucks hard on shins

yes I just about quit, talk about locator abuse!!!! doug it was solid bush about 200 feet thick, trees were thick couldn't get though, had to walk. just about killed me.

Hahahaha.........so you worked for your money, eh! There is no quit in ol' imdoo'n.......is there?

I know what you mean. When I walked and GPS'd that new trail in Fernie that was what it was like. I didn't have snow until it was time to walk with the tree faller. It was a chore and I had to carry the fallers gas and oil. Pretty tough for an old guy!

Nice! I see you don't have chains on the that Ranger. Do you carry them or is it tough enough with the snow conditions that you don't need them?

Looks like you had pretty good working conditions yesterday and I'm betting there were no mosquitoes :D

Bonus no skeeters, no problem with snow, rough ride on a sled i would think, no base, all sugar snow, ranger has no problems unless snow plow banks are froze solid, was 4 ft in the air the other day, two hrs to clean shorts lol. Really liking the ranger in the snow, love the sled trails(. Sorry glen had too). They were froze solid, should be good base with more snow

think there should only be a few crossings
