Bev had to have the brakes re-done on her Nissan at 40,000 as there was a "shake" when braking hard. Neither of us are hard on brakes when we drive but they sure didn't last long. I sometimes think the imports (and I am generalizing) are a very inferior auto. I don't think at 35000 km the tires would be an issue unless some of the weights fell off. Probably something simple with those kms, eh!
