My neighbor was telling me 2 weeks ago, that she wasn't sure if she has enough time for a garden this year. Weather wise

There was no frost to speak of, most plant after may long because of possible frost and frost in the ground

I agree. It just seems like the weather is bad. My flowers are in bloom and all the deciduous trees are in bud. May long is normally when gardeners plant (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and most of BC) and that is lots of time as most things require less than 90 days of frost free temperatures.

We don't plant our bedding plants until the first week of June.

Lots of time for things to grow.............but then again Mother Nature could throw a real curve ball compared to the little bit of teasing she has been doo-ing now.....:snow:
