It's good to be prepared for when the melt is done. I have too many things that I want to do to my house this summer, and thought this would be a good weekend to get started. But Ma Nature boched my plans for yesterday :(

Looks like there is just you and I poking around the hallowed halls of S&M this morning with an odd straggler here and there

Yes, I will be ready. I like to haul my wood early. It dries nicely, and one never knows when there may be a fire ban, wash-outs, or whatever. Some guys like the fall for getting their wood but I have always started when the snow left and that way the blow downs have a nice time to dry.

It sure does, but it's time for me to get off my ass and get my day going.

If I had to get wood, I would do it in the early spring as well. Makes no sense to me why a person would wait till fall?
