Probably no, unless someone drops into my driveway with a sled loaded and says, "Let's go!"

I am working on rails for my deck so I can haul firewood in the next little while. Gotta get ready for when the snow leaves the old back roads.

It's good to be prepared for when the melt is done. I have too many things that I want to do to my house this summer, and thought this would be a good weekend to get started. But Ma Nature boched my plans for yesterday

Looks like there is just you and I poking around the hallowed halls of S&M this morning with an odd straggler here and there

Yes, I will be ready. I like to haul my wood early. It dries nicely, and one never knows when there may be a fire ban, wash-outs, or whatever. Some guys like the fall for getting their wood but I have always started when the snow left and that way the blow downs have a nice time to dry.

It sure does, but it's time for me to get off my ass and get my day going.

If I had to get wood, I would do it in the early spring as well. Makes no sense to me why a person would wait till fall?

I hate sliding anything on SuperGlides, so I laid down a few 2x4's (and they are a little taller than the SuperGlide hooks) and screwed some plywood to them.

Should work good but I will see with the first load of wood.
