no idea, but they must have to have thought about it. And put some kind of spacer's on the studs. to only run the outsides

Well not really. Would only set the tire in less than an inch if they just put the outside tire on.

Ok.... but isn't the studs long enough to accomindate both? If they only had the outside on, what would prevent it from sliding down the threads closer to the diff?

Or am I thinking too much on this?

Never thought of that. But if they are like semis, the threads go all the way to the hub.

Yes. But picture the outside wheels on only, with the inners missing. looking like they should be there

The inside wheels on a dually will be offset to the inside, and the outside are offset to the outside. The inside rim is the only thing between the axle and the outside rim, therefore however thick the rims are, is how much more offset the outside rim will be without the inside rim.

Make sense?

Not really....there still is at least 6" of space not accounted for, on the inside. Regardless of which rim you would use.........No???

I'm going to look at the neighbors dually. I'm getting all phucked up now! LOL

His truck isn't there. Picture your semis inside dually missing. What's keeping the outside one there? But that doesn't make sense, it does & NOW I see the point your making dog.
I should have took a pic, it was like the outside wheel was all the way out, flush with the fender skirt, not recessed like the inner one would be.

I need a refill..............

I'm thinking about putting some boots on, and going to have a fire.
