the danger ratings may be dropping but i don't know that the consequences are dropping along with the ratings. The slabs that are sliding are huge and hard. Have you seen some of the video from the Southern Rockies Avalanche Team (Alexander and Heartbreak was the latest one)?

It is scary out there and IMHO opinion anybody who is high marking is tempting Mother Nature.

Yes i seen that. Hopefully the snow pack will settle. Only time will tell. May have to go farther back for snow. No idea at this time.

It is settling alright..........at the bottom of the friggin' mountain! That real bad layer and heavily facetted layer isn't going away or healing itself.

I hope so after Thursday. It is not flooded very bad. Only 3 or 4 spots. We ride about 50 km per trip. Easy going and fun..
Snow is like concrete on the creek.
