This Stoney Trail is such a nice change compared to the Deerfoot! Now if someone could talk Red Deer into a hiway 11 bypass and another set of lights at Sylvan Lake, all would be right with the world... Sigh

The hwy 11 bypass is being built but probably won't be done for another 5 years.

I know where it will be over by Canyon ski hill... Where does it cross the river? 67th? Or down by Olymel?

Crosses just north of the new city yards by olymel. Bridge won't be built for another year or two. The by pass comes out at 11a.

Its kinda goofy that it comes out on 11A. But I'll take it! I wonder what they'll doo about the roller coaster bumps east of Sylvan... 65km/hr in a pickup is just about too fast!

Oh hell, I drive those in my work truck at 110. Long box crew cab Chevy 1 ton. Takes them all in stride.

Cool. Don't know if you knew but Merv has two drills now. W/S did a 80 km water line job from Boyle to Wandering river last year all drilled.

It was my old bosses from Bullseye that did the job at Boyle. I know the guy running the 100 now...I didn't know there was a second rig though.
