You betcha! I didn't have gas at the time of the build and BCGas (supplier at the time) wanted me to foot the capital cost ot install the gas line 4 blocks. They said, "you will need gas!" and I said, "I've been down this road before and there are other forms of heat that work just fine."

They came back 7 years later and put in the main line but I still don't and won't have a hook up done..
