A hill. Sound travels downhills but it's hard to get sound from the bottom
Of a Hill to the top.

I could hear one of My dad employees trucks idling in the yard.

My voice course and my throat
Is raspy from yelling:

Meanwhile the exhaust burns my leg. I can barely wiggle my

I take a stick and try to
Pry the fender away from my leg because it is also pressuring my
