You sure? Mine runs the same with both but is stronger on the hill with the pipe.

Scott's sled sounds better with the stock pipe too. Nice and deep, where as the Spi is more high pitched.
I dunno. Pulled really good this weekend once we got the clutch dialed in though.

We were doing that too. The secondary clutch adjuster had come loose, and that was giving me lots of troubles. Had to limp back down the hill with hardly any back shifting.

I got tricked last year with the etec in that it doesn't seem to run on the tach over 8000rpm even if it is over revving. You can click down at 8000 rpm and it will run better and still show 8000 rpm on the tach. Weird.

I know it is. Don't know why. It is like the tach has a stopper at 8000 rpm. The old pteks would run all the way up to the rev limiter at 8500-8600.
