Well Chris, with this gang round here, one never really knows if one is alone until the end. Lots of sneaky snakes and lurkers just waiting to pounce and that in itself gets the heart beat up a little.

No elk yet, wolves rolled through at 6:45am, I caught a glimpse of 3 of them when the small heard of elk bolted, way to dark to shoot. The one wolf track is absolutely huge. Wolves are so hard to hunt. I have yet to get a wolf on game cam in daylight hours, always at night.

No elk yet, wolves rolled through at 6:45am, I caught a glimpse of 3 of them when the small heard of elk bolted, way to dark to shoot. The one wolf track is absolutely huge. Wolves are so hard to hunt. I have yet to get a wolf on game cam in daylight hours, always at night.

Keep trying and kill a few of them and that way you save some elk and deer babies.
