Was looking at my pile of dodge, ended up being the whole power steering pump. Today sucks
My wife makes great ones as well Randy. Some sour cream and bacon bits on top make them amazingNot bragging(maybe a bit) but I just made the best cabbage rolls I have ever made. And I have history of making very good cabbage rolls.
Never thought of putting sour cream on top, will try that. I do cut up bacon into small pieces and put them in the mixture. My wife makes great ones as well Randy. Some sour cream and bacon bits on top make them amazing
Certainly takes time and I am a messy cook so the clean up takes more time. Nobody seems to complain when I make them. Comfort food that's for sureI really should learn how to make them
Do you make the small Ukrainian style with sweet cabbage leaves or do you make the large German style with hamburger meat and rice filling?Never thought of putting sour cream on top, will try that. I do cut up bacon into small pieces and put them in the mixture.
1/2 pork, 1/2 beef(or deer or elk) hamburger, rice, small pieces of bacon. Meat is browned, bacon almost cook, rice almost cooked. I use 1/2 can of tomato sauce in the mixture and the rest of the sauce spread on the pan, and today I used homemade pizza sauce over the top of them. 2 hours in the oven. Sweet paprika , salt and pepper for the spices. All the grease from the meat and the bacon is not added.Do you make the small Ukrainian style with sweet cabbage leaves or do you make the large German style with hamburger meat and rice filling?
Much the same as my better half’s recipe except she only uses beef for the meat1/2 pork, 1/2 beef(or deer or elk) hamburger, rice, small pieces of bacon.
