there is nothing simple about anything when upgrading/replacing things on RV's.Ya… larger tank models like 12-16 gal with dual heating capabilities propane/electric are north of $1500, plus installation…
I could probably do it myself, although I’d have to find a route for 110V from the panel to the heater location.
My LED light strip in my awning doesn't work, I can trace power most of the way to the strip, then the wires get so damn thin you can't even probe the meter thru the insulation and hit wire, I'm just going to order a new one, run better wires and replace it, I know I have power at the trailer body.
LED's on the front cap are falling off and also seem to be dropping individual bulbs all the time, if it wouldn't look absolutely trashy, I'd just remove them and silicon the holes from the wires.
