I find it more resilient to drought than canola. Eric and Melvin were telling me on our sled race junket they didn’t cash in on the $100+/ bushel last year but hit $65. That’s better than $15 by a long shot and way cheaper to grow

The only downside I found with it was if it’s very hot and dry out the crap doesn’t feed in the combine very well. Other than that less fertilizer requirements, way cheaper seed, bugs hate it, trucking included and half to to thirds the yield of canola but twice to 4 times the price.
