Just went to the garage for a couple of tools. Got the thermostat set at 10c and it's toasty warm in there

Furnace trouble over the last two days. These new high efficiency furnaces with the light codes.....
Something in my brain switched on and I remembered to check the thermostat batteries.
Replaced batteries; bingo-bango and Bob’s your uncle sort of feeling.
All is well with our furnace.
