The weather people say -5 this morning and it is -1 on the rear deck. A forecast high of +3 under sunny skies today in the Shuswap.

My rant about the Oilers missed the interesting turn around of Vancouver and IMHO, that relates to coaching.
Tochett has got that team with virtually the same players as last year, turned in the right direction. The system he introduced was a competitive one and the players bought in. They respected what the coach wanted and went to work.
The same can’t be said about the Oilers.
I haven’t watch the Flames this year so I have no comment.
