My wife told me that her Dads favorite way to cook a steak is pan frying it . I told her he was nuts until she cooked a striploin for me that way. High heat searing both sides and the ends in garlic and butter then continuing to baste the steak over and over in the butter and juices until it’s medium rare. Waaaaaayyyyyyyy better than BBQ’ed. super tasty and tender.

Mayfield dinner theater with work tonight. Was a good time. Wasn't sure if it was a thing I'd enjoy. Turns out. I did.

That was my dad’s favorite way to. Had to be a cast iron frying pan, seared in butter and cooked to a medium rare perfection
I do want to try the Gordon Ramnsey way when werr in the house
Never cooked a steak over a fire. How much better than BBQ’ed?
1000 times better then the Q and way faster depending on the wood you use. I like to grill over a smallish open flame, flipping my steak very often, so it doesnt get charred

Open fire and briquettes are uncontrolled heat, so make a full drink or grab 2 beers and babysit to perfection
