But they are real. Targeted Radio waves are real. Laser beams are being tested on ground platforms and naval applications and work but need a reliable power source to keep emitting multiple streams in a short period of time. Nobody has figured out how to make reliable laser streams in an aircraft application yet because of the speed of the plane and the atmosphere dissipating the stream of intense light. Plus they have to devise a power source to keep the weapon powered up in the small confines of a plane. Thats why the idea that the US targeted a thousand buildings in a short period of time in Lahaina from a plane is a joke at best.
