How's life?
Pretty good Dallas. Got my tractor back today and got the blade on it. Ready for snow now. You?
Was your tractor in getting work done? and lifes good, got hockey practice tonight, yipee!!!
Yah, got a greenlight done on it and a seal on the front wheel assist was leaking. I bet practice is going to be boring after the big win last weekend heh?
I could have done that seal for you. Done that a time or two already. hahaYah, got a greenlight done on it and a seal on the front wheel assist was leaking. I bet practice is going to be boring after the big win last weekend heh?
Greenlight is John Deere's inspection program. They look your tractor over, and tell you what all needs to be done to it.Greenlight? Oh and yea we haven't been getting bag skated as much as we usually do. Worked on our penalty killing on Monday. Did some push ups and hard laps, that's about it, oh and we worked on out positioning a little working on not getting scramble and skating allover the place. Not sure what we're doing tonight.

Scooter will be loading the sled's tonight, I'm packing and relaxing tonight, and we will be headed out tomorrow afternoon. Ya we will be taking pictures and videos and will report on the revelstoke thread.Sounds like a common problem. Thought I would get them to do it while it was over there. All loaded and ready to go? You posting pics and info while you and Scooter are out there?

All depends on the farmer. We get our combine's done every other year. Our tractor's, we just look over ourselves.Hmm. Learned something new today, go to school for 7 hours, learn nothing, come on the forum and I learn something. How often does this inspection have to be done?

haha very true. They do make quite a killing off of that.Deere would probably like to see the tractor every year$$$$$$ but...........I get it done every 3 years. The regular maintenance is done by yours truly. Lol.

It's actually quite amazing what they do find. When I was working at the John Deere dealer in Trochu, I was helping a mechanic do a green light. He called me over, told me to go on top of the sieves, and look for cracked sieves. Got in there, and I didn't see anything so he crawled in there too, and showed me the crack he had already found. It was just a hairline crack on the very front of the bottom sieve. They know what to look for I guess.Been getting this newer combine done every year. All done already and put away for winter. Will do a couple small things next summer, clean the windows, and roll. HaHa.
